The Nation’s Most Courageous Republican [Jul. 26th, 2012|03:49 pm]

Exclusive: Larry Klayman praises House candidate who went toe-to-toe with Islamists

I have been a lawyer and public-interest advocate in Washington, D.C., for 35 years and can tell you that there is not one congressman or senator currently serving in Congress who has the patriotic guts of Joe Kaufman. Joe is running for the U.S. House seat of the ultra-leftist and sleazy Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz in South Florida’s 23rd Congressional District.

When I first met Joe, in 2003 while I was running for the U.S. Senate in Florida, he volunteered to help my campaign. After it ended, Joe worked for me as an expert on lawsuits such as the one that challenged the building of a radical Islamic mosque in the Ft. Lauderdale area. From personal experience, I can attest to Joe’s courage.

Petition to Stop Wikipedia Sexual Exploitation [May. 18th, 2010|09:53 am]

This is a petition to get Wikipedia to adopt the minimum of standards to ensure that people are protected. There are no current regulations on explicit images that protect the rights of those in the images or those under 18, and this is a serious problem.

Kenneth Copeland Ministries has compiled a guide to the 2008 election with information about issues concerning Christians (and, by extension, non-Christian conservatives.) See the links below:

Guide to Effective Voting -has links to sites with information for Christian voters

2008 Voter's Guide -guide to candidates on moral issues such as cloning and abortion

They also did a series of broadcasts on Bible-based voting, with guest David Barton:

Anti-Catholic Hypocrits [Feb. 15th, 2008|11:03 am]

There was a talkshow host in San Francisco that led the crusade against the Catholic Church over "sexual misconduct". He was an ex-priest and used that to get a lot of money and publicity as he claimed the church was evil and should be changed.

Guess what? Turns out that the guy was really a pedophile and also into S and M. Sure looks like he was projecting upon the church:

I hate when liberals attack the Church and try to claim they are evil, when they, the individual, its the truly evil one.

Who Will Be VP? [Feb. 15th, 2008|09:07 am]

Morning folks,

I just finished posting my personal thoughts on who might be the GOP's Vice-Presidential nominee, once McCain officially secures the nomination. Even though I prefer Huckabee, there just is not enough numbers anymore for him to get the Presidential nomination, even if he were to get every last remaining delegate.

I would also say, that he won't be VP, as I detail in this mornings post:

I was all set to vote for Romney until I heard that his real first name is Mittens. I can't vote for a guy named Mittens.

Doubts Raised on Magazine’s ‘Baghdad Diarist’
By LOUISE STORY

Just who is the “Baghdad Diarist”?

It is a question that many people are asking The New Republic, the Washington political magazine that has been running articles attributed to an American soldier in Baghdad.

The author, who used the pen name Scott Thomas, has written three articles for the magazine since February, describing gruesome incidents in Iraq. Last week, The Weekly Standard questioned the veracity of the New Republic articles and invited readers with knowledge about the military or Baghdad to comment.

You have to love when people who keep criticizing and attacking you turn out to be a bunch of phonies.

Outsourcing the Picket Line
Carpenters Union Hires Homeless to Stage Protests

By Keith L. Alexander
Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, July 24, 2007; A01

The picketers marching in a circle in front of a downtown Washington office building chanting about low wages do not seem fully focused on their message.

Many have arrived with large suitcases or bags holding their belongings, which they keep in sight. Several are smoking cigarettes. One works a crossword puzzle. Another bangs a tambourine, while several drum on large white buckets. Some of the men walking the line call out to passing women, "Hey, baby." A few picketers gyrate and dance while chanting: "What do we want? Fair wages. When do we want them? Now."

Fred Thompson [Jun. 13th, 2007|01:00 am]

So I was watching Leno tonight and Fred Thompson came on. I thought it was interesting, because he basically said he was running without actually saying it.

I think he would do well. I would honestly like him running with Guiliani as his VP. I think they would make a good combination, and there would be nothing to fear about Guiliani's "values" if he is only VP. Both would also balance each other out nicely.
